About Us

Our adventure began in 1996. 

We spent the summer riding bicycles across the United States, and after finishing, decided to settle in Portland, Oregon. 

We fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, and more than anything else, cafe culture. Since then, we have both lived and breathed coffee.

When you hold a bag of red e café in your hand, you're holding the culmination of our love for craft coffee, and our commitment to excellence. Our philosophy is simple. We roast the highest quality coffee, served to you by knowledgeable, passionate baristas in a comfortable space.
